Tour Package Itinerary
DAY 1 | SRINAGAR - KARGIL
Begin the journey from Srinagar in the morning, driving via the scenic Sonamarg valley and Zojila Pass. Take a break for lunch at Drass, the world’s second coldest inhabited spot, and tour the Kargil War Memorial.
Continue your trek towards Kargil. Arrive at Kargil in the evening and book a hotel room for the night.
DAY 2 | KARGIL - LEH
When you arrive in Leh, you will be welcomed by a representative who will assist you in making your way to your accommodation. After finishing the check-in process, take some time to rest and acclimate to the climate. Attend a briefing and then pick up your bikes. Begin your evening tour with a visit to the Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local Leh market. Return to the hotel for supper and a night’s rest.
DAY 3 | LOCAL SIGHTSEEING IN LEH
Prepare for an exciting voyage to Sham Valley by eating breakfast. The Hall of Fame, Spituk Gompa, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Indus Sangam Viewpoint, and SECMOL are all worth a visit. Return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.
DAY 4 | LEH - NUBRA VALLEY
After breakfast, set out on an epic journey via some of the world’s highest passes, including the Khardung-La Pass. Take in the scenery from the cafe on the pass. As you descend from the mountain, you will notice a shift in the terrain as you approach the Nubra Valley. If time allows, pay a visit to the Diskit Monastery and take a Bactrian camel ride. Spend the night camping beneath the stars.
DAY 5 | NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE
After breakfast, go to Pangong Lake, which is located on the Indo-China border. Spend the day exploring the lake’s environs and recreating legendary Bollywood scenes. Stay the night at a campground near the lake.
DAY 6 | PANGONG LAKE - LEH
Breakfast is served with a stunning view of Pangong Lake. On the way back to Leh, stop at Chang-la Pass, Changla Baba Temple, Druk Padma School, and Thiksey Monastery. At the hotel, you can rest and have dinner.
DAY 7 | LEH - KARGIL
Depart Leh in the morning and take the NH1D, popularly known as the Srinagar-Leh Highway, to Kargil. You’ll travel through some spectacular scenery along the way, including the Lamayuru, Fotu La, and Namik La passes. You’ll also get to see Magnetic Hill and the Nimmu confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers. After arriving in Kargil, check into your accommodation and spend the rest of the day relaxing.
DAY 8 | LEH - SRINAGAR
After breakfast, proceed from Kargil and take the NH1D to Srinagar. You’ll pass through some beautiful scenery along the way, including Drass, the world’s second coldest inhabited town, and the Kargil War Memorial. You will also get to view Sonamarg and the famed Zojila Pass. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in Srinagar, depending on your request.
